Sublime silence as State Theatre adds "shore power" so tour buses can turn off the engines
"Shore power" is the idea of providing electricity from land to a boat that's docked so it can turn off its motors and keep powering its on-board equipment. It applies to RVs at campgrounds, as well, and now the State Theatre has an electrical hookup available for tour buses that park out front so they don't have to keep running an engine or generator to keep heating, air conditioning, and other systems going.
